Lunch and Learn Session - Challenges walking into a job and continuing changes

The Ontario Association of Library Technicians/Association des bibliotechniciens de l’Ontario is pleased to announce our next Professional Development session,  Challenges Walking Into A Job and Continuing Changes

About This Event

  • Date: Tuesday, October 20th, 2026
  • Time: 12:00PM – 1:00PM
  • Location: Zoom

Come on the journey into a new job and the variety of challenges that you can run into. Janna Munkittrick-Colton has worked for the Belleville Public Library for almost 49 years. She joined their ranks part-time right out of college and started out in the basement for a few months before entering into Circulation Services; then she moved up to the Children's area and she had to learn to work with them as well! Walk through the journey with Janna and be prepared to share some of your challenges too!
